The clans are recovering from the massive forest fire that started near Thunderclan territory and swept through all clan territories. As the leaves begin to change color and fall from the trees, it is apparent that Leaf-fall is here. The massive gap in ammount of gatherings will soon be closed, and the medicine cats look forward to meeting once again. Shadowclan lacks a deputy and Medicine Cat, and Riverclan needs a Medicine Cat Apprentice to carry on the wisdom of herbs and healing. Riverclan and Shadowclan have both postponed their battle, though hostilities between the two clans are still apparent. It seems that as the light begins to shine on the clans, darkness closes in on Starclan...

Name: Morningwind
Gender: she-cat
Breed: feral
Age: 27 moons
Clan: WindClan
Position: Medicine Cat
Appearance: Morningwind is very small, but lean and long-limbed. Her fur is light brown with faint brown stripes, darkest on her forehead. Her muzzle and throat are snow-white, and her face is brindled slightly. Her eyes are a shockingly bright green—her mother always joked that she should have named her Grasskit.
Personality: Morning is friendly and kind, and gets along very well with her Clanmates, and with the other Medicine Cats. She can make friends in any Clan quite easily most of the time because of her outgoing personality. She loves playing with kits, and will offer to babysit them so the queens can take a break and go out for a while. She also likes apprentices, and will talk with them when they're not doing chores or training with their mentors. She likes everyone, but gets along better with younger cats.
History: Morningkit had a fairly ordinary kithood. She had two sisters—Heatherkit and Littlekit. She didn't have a brother, but one of the apprentices, Stonepaw, acted like an older brother to her. He was very protective of her and her sisters, and was killed by a fox he was trying to chase away from the Nursery. Heatherkit and Littlekit were taken by the same fox, and they never saw them again. Morningpaw was almost apprenticed to a warrior, but she refused her apprentice ceremony until she was mentored by the Medicine Cat. She learned quickly, memorizing the different scents and appearances of the herbs, where to find them, and how to use them. She was still Morningpaw when her mentor was captured by twolegs. Morningpaw went to the Moonpool to receive her name as a full Medicine Cat when she was eighteen moons old. A medicine cat from one of the other Clans had to preform her ceremony, because her own mentor was neither in StarClan nor in WindClan. She's been WindClan's Medicine Cat for nine moons now.
RP Example: Morningwind hummed softly as she padded across camp, toward her herb store. She dropped catmint and a poppy head and used her paws to push them into the correct locations, then sat still for a moment, parting her jaws to taste the air. Somebody must have been hunting. She hadn't noticed it with the herbs in her jaws, but now she could clearly scent the fresh-kill. She picked up a rabbit and, ignoring her own hunger, trotted across the camp toward the Nursery. Padding inside, she dropped the fresh-kill. “Hello, Graydawn,” she mewed cheerfully. Graydawn was the only queen in the Nursery, now that Icefire's kits had become apprentices. She hesitated for a moment, then sat down beside the queen. “I'm so excited for your kits,” she purred. “They're going to be adorable!”
